1. Account and Registration You must use Google OAuth to create an account. By creating an account, you consent to sharing your Google email and profile information, which we securely store in Firebase for account management and service access.
2. User Responsibilities You agree to use the Services responsibly, complying with applicable laws and regulations. Misuse of our Services or violating terms may result in account termination.
3. Google API Scope Access Our Services access specific Google API scopes, including Gmail, Docs, and Google Calendar. You explicitly authorize BigEdits to access these scopes for the proper functioning of our Services.
4. Data Processing and Sharing with OpenAI To provide enhanced functionalities, we send text accessed from Google Slides, Docs, Gmail, as well as user-highlighted text and screenshots, to OpenAI's servers for processing. No other data is shared with OpenAI. We use the same technology that ChatGPT uses, for more information please refer to their privacy policy. While we transmit data securely, we are not responsible for how these services handle, store, or protect your data. By using BigEdits, you acknowledge and accept any risks associated with these third-party services.
5. Payment Terms Payments are securely handled via Stripe. By purchasing any subscription or service, you agree to Stripe's policies. BigEdits does not offer refunds for any payments made.
6. Service Modifications We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Services or these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
