At BigEdits, we're passionate about helping people work smarter, not harder. We believe traditional learning methods aren't effective at helping students understand and retain information. We also believe that in order to be truly focused, you must be organized. We took all our insights as current students, and applied them to create BigEdits, the perfect extension for the ambitious student.
How BigEdits came to be
BigEdits began in 2024 when two students noticed how systematic and repetitive their schoolwork was. There was such a lack of focus on understanding and retention, and they were frustrated by the absence of teacher guidance when it came to studying. While they tried many other applications, they found there was no centralized solution for studying, scheduling, and note taking. BigEdits started as a product for themselves, but they soon realized many of their peers were looking for the same thing. Thus, the ultimate productivity extension was born.
We have built and are testing the first prototype of BigEdits, focusing on 3 core features (learn, todo, and notes). We are very open to feedback and suggestions, so please reach out through the contact page if you have any!
We have ambitious plans for BigEdits. Our ultimate goal is to create the ultimate productivity extension for students, with all the features they need to succeed in school. We also want to expand our reach beyond just students, targeting any forward-looking individual seeking seamless productivity. We have already integrated with several Google Workspace apps, and we plan to continue integrating with more popular productivity services in the future.
